What we do

We are focused on the Defender Wolf variant but not exclusively. These military grade trucks are technically superior to their civilian counterparts and we hand pick rust free low mileage examples straight from the British Army. These limited edition trucks can be kept exactly as they are or provide the perfect base for custom builds. We believe that Wolf Defenders offer better value that most like for like Defenders due to the high service levels they received in the military and relatively low mileage on the engines.

Defender North America

Defender North America was created from love for the British automotive icon. Now that Tdi 300s are able to be legally imported to the USA we aim to bring you a selection of the best available vehicles from the UK and give you a chance to own a beautiful and useful appreciating asset that will put a smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel.

Where are we

Based in Driftwood in Texas Hill Country we have a showroom open by appointment only. Airport Pickups are available for customers and a visit to us will have to include a leisurely test drive on Texas back roads and may include beers and a barbeque if we like you!

1997 Defender Wolf 110. Left Hand Drive

This is an extremely rare left-hand drive version of the 110 Wolf. Served in the British Army in Germany and recently released. Recently serviced and rust free.

1997 Wolf 110 Right Hand Drive Tdi300

Recently sprayed in glorious Olive Green this rust free low mileage Wolf drives like new.

1997 Wolf 90 'Air Drop'

Wolf 90 Soft Top Tdi 300. Designed to dropped by helicopter behind enemy lines. Only 27 ever made and only 12 thought to still exist. The holy grail of Wolf Land Rovers.

1997 Wolf 90 Hard Top Tdi 300

This rare beauty was released from the military in 2003 and held in a private collection since. Only went out on summer weekends for shows and meet ups.

110 Hard Top Wolf

This beautiful example of the 110 has covered just over 80,000 miles in 25 years. Body recently resprayed in Olive green. Checker plates on the wings, snorkel air intake, new cambelt and full service, almost new Michelin tyres. Hard top can easily be removed and canvas soft top fitted. Right hand drive.

Left hand drive version of the legendary Wolf Defender. Very rare example of the upgraded Wolf. Purchased directly from the British Army. Bodywork in excellent shape and Nato green paint is also in near perfect condition. Recent full service and governemtn inspection passed. Engine pulls well and gearbox is tight.

90 Soft Top Special Ed.

Only 12 known examples in existence this special edition served with the 2nd Parachute regiment and later the special forces SAS. Designed to be dropped by helicopter behind enemy lines. This one deserves respect and will only be sold to someone who really appreciated this living piece of history.
